Ordering

One good place to start is by inputting your reference picture in this form and selecting each color. That will give you an idea of what Pantone colors are closest to your chosen color. Please note, colors like very pale tans or bright neons are not available in Pantone.
We aim to have the artwork stage completed within four months of payment, and the manufacturing stage within two months of artwork completion. This generally means our turnaround time is six months from order to delivery. Complex pins might require a higher leadtime - such as many variants, rainbow plating, dangle pins, etc.
We prefer that you have a visual reference of your character, but our artist can work off a description as well.
We do not make pins based off designs that do not belong to you, nor will we crease unlicensed merchandise of media characters. If you have a "fan character" based off an established media, we may accept that character if it doesn't closely resemble a media character, doesn't contain any trademarks or logos, and is drawn in our own unique style instead of the media's style.
We accept payment through PayPal. We will send you an invoice if your order is accepted. PayPal allows you to safely and easily use a credit or debit card for your transaction.
Our website's front page lists the opening date for Patreon members. If you have pledged to our Patreon, you can commission us at the time listed on the front page. Unfortunately we do not anticipate ever opening our commission slots to the public.
The amount of slots we open monthly varies, but is generally it's around 5. Sometimes we will not open commission slots for a particular month if our queue has grown large until we catch up!
Our pins are 1.5" tall. You can also purchase an upgrade for your custom pin to make it 1.75" or 2.0" which is better for smaller details!
You have full rights to personal, non-commercial use of the artwork - you can use the artwork as your twitter icon, on a t-shirt intended just for you or your friend, on a mug you intend to use, on stickers you intend to give out for free, etc. Generally, if it's made for you and friends, and not for sale, it's okay.

You have limited commercial use rights to the artwork. You may use the artwork to advertise the enamel pins we provide to you. You do not have the right to use the artwork to create new enamel pin molds with a different manufacturer; all reorders must go through us. You may not use the artwork to create additional products for sale (t-shirts, key chains, advertising outside of the scope of your enamel pin sales) without our written permission. To inquire on commercial use licensing, please contact orders@fursonapins.com
Yes, we are able to accommodate pins with higher than five colors now. Please note there is a $0.15 per pin charge per extra color.
Yes, we can accommodate requests for glow in the dark pins now. Please note there is an extra $0.20 charge per pin for glow in the dark. Glow in the dark must be green glow in the dark and: 1) one color on the pin and all instances of that color, -OR- 2) the entire pin. We cannot accommodate "pick and choose" glow in the dark spots.
Yes, we can accommodate requests for glitter now. Please note there is an extra $0.20 charge per pin for glitter per color (we generally advise limiting yourself to one color, as it can look kind of... odd, otherwise). This means that all instances of that one color chosen would be glitter. We cannot accommodate "pick and choose" sections of color for glitter.

Be advised, if you order your pin without glitter and decide to place a re-order of it with glitter in the future, there is an additional $20 molding charge as the mold wasn't made to accommodate glitter when originally created, and would need to be altered so it is deeper.
Our minimum order is 50 pins for a custom design. We cannot produce less than that.
